Beach cloves, Climbing with a panoramic sea

YOGYAKARTA, MONDAY - Beach cloves in the coastal region south Gunungkidul District, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY), now known as the start to develop special interest tourism for sport rock climbing.

"Beach cloves are not only offers a beautiful panorama white sand beach with a winsome. However, after the event was opened through the Asian Climbing Gathering 2005, now that the beach area is also known as rock climbing area of great demand, the tourists," said Public Relations Regional Tourism Board ( Baparda) DIY, Drs Nurhidayat in Yogyakarta, Sunday (7 / 9).

According to him, each year about 600 tourists visit the beach area is specifically for special interest tours to enjoy rock climbing. Compared to other rock climbing locations in Indonesia, the rock climbing area in the Beach cloves have certain advantages that are not owned by other regions.

"Besides expanse of nature and the beautiful natural scenery, rock climbing routes in the beach cloves can load 250 channels, so that in the event each participant can do pemanjatan cliffs together," he said.

He said, special interest tours such as rock climbing at this time has been promoted by many developed countries. ASEAN region itself has classified potential special interest tourist market rock climbing high enough. Thailand, for example, each year 30,000 tourists able to bring special people compete rock climbing.

Compared to the Phuket, Thailand that have been "go international", cloves beach is still quite far away but in the next few years support facilities and supporting infrastructure to the location that will be addressed.

"Thus, cloves Beach area has advantages not only a beautiful beach panorama, but also as a tourism destination for rock climbing that fascinate," he said.
