While on vacation last year, I was invited by my parents who now lives in Solo to visit the city of Yogyakarta is located not far away from Solo. Prior to the city center we visited several small beaches on the east coast. Located less than indicated by the brown box on the map. Three beaches are not far from each other and have different characters.
1. Kukup Beach
In this white sandy beach can still be found for fish and small marine organisms. Not far from the beach there is a small shack that sells small marine fish and algae for decoration. The unique way berjualannya on sand holes are coated in clear plastic. I decided to join the mother and sister who first 'scandal' or playing water while looking for small fish or crabs in the rocky shore.
A little to the beach is made of a small hut where visitors can better enjoy the beautiful beach and ocean waves.
2. Krakal Beach
This beach has white limestone that contrasts with the blue water. Along the beach can be found a few sellers limestone can be used for decorating the home or garden. My mother bought a sack of stones that cost is not expensive.
3. Baron Beach
Sand on this beach, black, unlike the two on the beach. Visitors in addition to enjoying the view from the top of the cliff coast can also enjoy a lot of sea food provided by food stores not far from the beach. Visitors can also buy fish from fishermen cooperatives sold by local fishermen. Variety of fish found there, from shrimp, crabs, stingrays to sharks. New unique and I first time I ate a peanut brittle from a small animal similar kind of shrimp. It was tasty and addictive.
Among these three beaches, Baron beach is the most turistik and famous. So far we only know the famous beach in Yogyakarta as Parangtritis, while the small beach like this is less known is the potential saving of no less magnitude.
